MP3 Audio and Open Source
Audacity:
Audacity is a download from the internet that allows for the recording, editing, and sharing of audio recordings. There is a free version, and two other versions which require payment, however, for this recording I stuck with the free version as it had all of the aspects I needed. It was simple to download and then access, and simple to navigate as there was a description for each tool. The only difficult part in the process, for me, was originally trying to find what the tools were for, as the description does not hover over them, but rather is written on the bottom of the screen in small print as you place your mouse over the tool. Other than this little issue I had, which I figured out fairly quickly, everything else was very easy and smooth going after watching the tutorial video.
