Video Making with CapCut

Making a video with CapCut:

This week I decided to make a video using the online resource CapCut. Signing up for this resource was free, and it even offers an app version. There is a premium version that requires payment, but the standard free version worked just fine for this project.

I decided that I would do a slideshow sort of video, using a collection of pictures I took of some of my favorite art pieces that I have made over the last couple of years. It was simple to get started, with a large plus sign displayed on the screen, which then brings you to your library where you can select to add photos, videos, or some of both. For this I only used photos. After I selected all of the photos I wanted to add there was a highlighted "Add" button which brought me to a screen with all of the images laid out. On this page I could then use a number of tools, such as editing the individual images, and the video as a whole, adding music, and text, adjusting the time, speed, and transitions, and many more editing tools. Overall, I had a nice, simple, and straightforward experience with CapCut and would recommend this application to others looking for a simple video editing tool. I would also use this application again, myself.
